CD Cover - The Deadeye Kid #3The third Deadeye Kid cover. Having established the separate style for these stories, I promptly did a variation in the colour, opening the way for more variation in the future (although I expect most of them will be dusty orange/red).

CD Cover - The Deadeye Kid #2The updated artwork for the 2nd episode of The Deadeye Kid, part of the 19 Nocturne Boulevard line up. It’s keeping with the previously established “Old West” “grunge” style. The major change here is the addition of the story subtitle.

Julie made a dedicated URL for The Deadeye Kid plays.

CD Cover - The Deadeye Kid #119 Nocturne Boulevard is an anthology show, but it does feature some recurring characters and worlds. One of these is a series of stories set in the wild west called The Deadeye Kid. Julie asked me for a cover for the third in the series.

I’d been thinking about the two previous stories for a while, and thought it would be fun to come up with an wild west variant of the 19NB cover design, something that would identify them all as being part of a series.

I came up with this wild west grunge style — deviating a little more than I intended from the standard 19 Nocturne Boulevard design — and Julie liked it, after some adjustments to the typeography.

For the actual audio play, see the The Deadeye Kid episode page.

I’ll be posting the second cover soon.
